BOW 11 (Blog of the Week) Semester 2

Energy Decisions

Energy decisions impact us every day and they can often involve tough tradeoffs. Energyville is a game developed by a Economist Group that allows players to control the energy mix of a virtual city and to discover the environmental, economic, and security impacts of their decisions. With such as ever-changing energy landscape, there are many things that impact decisions made about energy worldwide. There are constant competing demands- from affordability, to environmental impact, to national securtity concerns-and as such, there is no "single" or "right" energy solution.

Blog 10 (Blog of the Week) Semester 2

My ecology footprint

My ecology footprint  is related to ecology because my ecology footprint is the measurement of demands and the consumption of natural resources by people. It is a yardstick that gives an idea, whether a man is living within the means of what is available in nature for him or to what extent he exceeds his limit. Lastly, measuring your ecological footprint is the determination of the land are and water resource used, for providing the daily needs of a person, absorption of the greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and energy production.
